How do I check and grant microphone and camera permissions for my virtual appointment?

Most browsers will ask to use your microphone and camera when joining a virtual appointment. If you need to adjust settings manually:

Chrome

  1. Click the lock icon next to the website address
  2. Look for Camera and Microphone
  3. Set them to Allow
  4. Refresh the page

Safari (Mac)

  1. Go to Safari > Settings for This Website
  2. Locate Camera and Microphone
  3. Set both to Allow
  4. Refresh the page

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the lock icon in the address bar
  2. Update Camera and Microphone to Allow
