If I bank online and use 2-step text message verification, what happens if I switch to mobile banking?

If you change to mobile banking through the Scotia app, you'll be prompted to set up 2-step verification (2SV) push notifications. The notifications will then become your primary method of 2-step verification.

We’ll continue to use text messages if you need to deactivate 2SV push notifications.
