How do I register for ScotiaConnect?
If you have been added as a user for the ScotiaConnect service you register in order to setup your access.
Before you begin:
- Obtain the reference number from your registration email
- If you are one of your company's initial users you would have created a secret word as part of your enrollment otherwise the user that added you to ScotiaConnect should provide you with an Authorization code.
- If you will be using a physical token you will need to have received it, if you will be using the digital token you need to install it on your mobile device.
Registration Steps:
- Click the link provided in your registration email.
- Enter Reference Number
- Enter Secret Word/Authorization Code and click Continue.
- Create user ID (min. of 8 characters, case sensitive, can be alpha-numeric, no spaces, no special characters
- Create Password (password rules on the right hand side)
- PHYSICAL TOKEN Enter token serial number (found on back of token and starts with “GALT”) – please note you only need the GALT followed by the first set of numbers. You do not need the last four digits in the bottom)
- DIGITAL TOKEN Open the app and tap the plus (+) icon then scan the QR code that is displayed with your device
- Select and answer your five Security Questions (these answers are not case sensitive) and click Continue
- Enter 6 digit token value then click Register
- Click on the blue Scotia Connect hyperlink and sign in
- Choose a new secret word, this will be used to validate yourself to the helpdesk during support calls.
