How do I register for ScotiaConnect?

If you have been added as a user for the ScotiaConnect service you register in order to setup your access.

Before you begin:

  • Obtain the reference number from your registration email
  • If you are one of your company's initial users you would have created a secret word as part of your enrollment otherwise the user that added you to ScotiaConnect should provide you with an Authorization code.
  • If you will be using a physical token you will need to have received it, if you will be using the digital token you need to install it on your mobile device.

Registration Steps:

  1. Click the link provided in your registration email.
  2. Enter Reference Number
  3. Enter Secret Word/Authorization Code and click Continue.
  4. Create user ID (min. of 8 characters, case sensitive, can be alpha-numeric, no spaces, no special characters
  5. Create Password (password rules on the right hand side)
  6. PHYSICAL TOKEN Enter token serial number (found on back of token and starts with “GALT”) – please note you only need the GALT followed by the first set of numbers. You do not need the last four digits in the bottom)
  7. DIGITAL TOKEN Open the app and tap the plus (+) icon then scan the QR code that is displayed with your device
  8. Select and answer your five Security Questions (these answers are not case sensitive) and click Continue
  9. Enter 6 digit token value then click Register
  10. Click on the blue Scotia Connect hyperlink and sign in
  11. Choose a new secret word, this will be used to validate yourself to the helpdesk during support calls.
