How can I register for the Interac e-Transfer service?
- Click the Register for Interac e-Transfer link on the Overview page.
Note: The Register for Interac e-Transfer option will appear only after you have signed up for the Interac e-Transfer service.
Type in the business email address and language preference then click Continue
Set up the autodeposit email address.
Note: If the business email address entered here is already registered for Autodeposit and you want to register the same email address to a ScotiaConnect business banking account instead, the Autodeposit registration will be overridden by the ScotiaConnect Autodeposit registration. An email notification will be sent to confirm the override.
Select which email address to receive payment notifications (autodeposit email or registered business address email).
Select a deposit account that will receive funds sent to the autodeposit or registered business email addresses mentioned above.
Select the Autodeposit display name
Check the box to acknowledge the disclaimer (funds sent to the email address provided will be deposited into the selected account)
Review and confirm the details.
Click Confirm to proceed, Edit details to make changes, or cancel to exit (the information will not be saved).
Important: A registration confirmation email will be sent from Interac. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process within 24 hours. If that time has elapsed, please follow the steps outlined about to register.
