Glossary of terms for the use of the ScotiaConnect platform. In this section you will find the letters from "A" to "I".
A
- ACTIVITY LOG: Activity log created by a user on the ScotiaConnect platform.
- AUTHORIZATION FLOW: Allows ScotiaConnect users to obtain privileges for actions performed, taking into account the parametrization of limits either by transaction, product and/or amount, thus generating approvals or rejections of same.
- AUTHORIZATION RANGES: Is a parameterized numeric interval that requires an authorizer to approve the executed action if it is within the parameters set in ScotiaConnect.
- AUTHORIZERS: ScotiaConnect user with privileges to reject or approve monetary, non-monetary and/or administrative transactions.
- AUTOMATIC DEBIT: Is a service that consists of authorizing the bank to debit the value of utilities and credit obligations from your savings accounts or credit cards on a monthly basis and to report them to the companies that provide the respective services.
B
- BATCH NUMBER: Consecutive number generated by the corporate payment service, used to consult the trace ability of a transaction.
C
- CDT: Term Certificate of Deposit.
- CUD Code for SEBRA Transfer: Numerical value of Deposit Item.
- CUTOFF: Is the date on which the bank takes stock of all the services that a customer has in order to determine the interest and the minimum payment to be made for the use of credit cards.
D
- DAILY LIMIT: Maximum amount of funds (maximum amount of transactions) that can be granted to a user for monetary transactions (daily).
H
- HARD TOKEN: A physical device used as a second authentication factor and security element that generates one-time keys to authorize digital banking transactions. Its purpose is to strengthen monetary and non-monetary banking transactions.
I
- IP: A unique address that identifies a device on the Internet or a local network.
