What do the different types of transactions of an investment in ScotiaConnect refer to?
They refer to investment instruments. That is, the way you want to invest. This can be:
A. Promissory note:
- Short or medium term, from 1 day to 365 days.
- Minimum amount = $5,000 MXN.
- There is no maximum amount
- Only in local currency
B. Fixed rate CEDES (certificates of deposit):
- Medium or long term from 60 to 999 days.
- Minimum amount = $ 50,000 MXN.
- There is no maximum amount
- Local currency
- Fixed interest rate during the entire contracted term
C. CEDES variable rate:
- Medium or long term, from 90 to 999 days.
- Minimum amount = $ 50,000 MXN.
- Local Currency
- There is no maximum amount
- Variable interest rate updated monthly (28 days) based on CETES (Certificados de la Tesorería de la Federación – Federal Treasury Bills)
IMPORTANT: The transaction types depend on the selected maturity instructions. In order to see all the transaction types, tests must be performed using the different maturity instructions.
