Our updated help and search function is a shortcut to FAQs and features based on where you are in the app. Select the magnifying glass icon to enter your keyword or question in the field.
Keep track of balances with your Apple Watch
You can use your Apple Watch to access balances for specific accounts without signing in to the Scotia app. To set up, go to the More menu, then select Profile and settings, and then Apple Watch.
Get answers fast with the Scotiabank chatbot
The Scotiabank chatbot answers everyday banking questions and can connect you with a live chat advisor for more support. Select the More menu, then Contact us, and then Connect with Scotia chat.
Manage your investments with Scotia Smart Investor
With Scotia Smart Investor, you can get personalized investment advice, manage your investments, and track your goals. Get started by selecting Advice+ from the home screen, and then Scotia Smart Investor.
Customize your Scotia Smart Money settings
Select which accounts are enrolled in Scotia Smart Money, add or remove specific accounts, and enjoy more personalized insights and advice about your finances. From the home screen, select Advice+, then Manage to get to the eligible accounts screen. On that screen select the accounts you’d like to link or unlink.
Lock and unlock your Visa or Amex card
If your Visa or Amex card is lost or stolen, you can lock it temporarily in the app to prevent unauthorized purchases. If you find the card, you can also unlock it. From the home screen, select your credit card account, then Manage, and under Settings, select Lock or unlock card.
Next-level security, including 2SV
2-step verification confirms your identity, data encryption keeps financial information safer, and notifications help you stay on top of what’s happening in your accounts. To manage 2SV, select More from the home screen, then Sign in and Security, then 2-step verification.
