What do I do if my card was lost or stolen?

Please call us as soon as possible so we can help:

Relay services for Deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing customers are available.

You can also temporarily lock your credit card through the Scotiabank mobile app. When your card is locked, all cash advances, purchases, and withdrawals will be declined.

You can lock or unlock your Visa or American Express in our app:

  • Tap My accounts
  • Tap your credit card account
  • Tap Manage
  • Under Settings, tap Lock or unlock card

If your chequing account, savings accounts, debit card, or Mastercard is lost or stolen, please call us or visit one of our branches.
