How often will I be required to confirm my identity through 2-step verification (2SV)?
You’ll be asked to confirm your identity with 2SV when you sign in to your account from a new device (one you haven’t chosen to recognize). If you sign in regularly from a device, you have the option of trusting that device. You’ll then be prompted with verification codes or push notifications less often.
You may also be asked to confirm your identity when you reset your password, recover your username, or change your verification method.
