How do I create a custom alert?

You can add custom alerts, so you’re notified when certain activities happen on ScotiaConnect.

To add custom alerts:

  1. Click the Alerts bell icon at the top of ScotiaConnect.
  2. Click Manage my alerts.
  3. Click Add Alert

From here, you can set up various types of alerts:

  • Balance thresholds (e.g., an account is above or below a certain amount)
  • Transaction (e.g., you’ve received a wire payment)
  • Service notifications (e.g., you have payments awaiting your approval)
