The hard token is a device delivered to the customer by the bank that generates a dynamic code.

The soft token is the dynamic code generated from an application called "Scotiabank Digital Token" available on the Play Store and App Store.

Secret word is a word that will be received via a text message to your cell phone registered with your bank.

Reference number is a number that will be received via email previously registered with your bank.

The creator user can perform transactions; depending on the configuration, they may or may not authorize them.

The authorizing user can authorize or reject transactions; depending on the configuration, they may or may not create them.

The administrator user is in charge of user creation and privileges. They can also authorize or reject transactions created by other users. The administrator is created by the superadministrator.

The superadministrator is in charge of configuring the platform, user creation and privileges within the platform. They can also authorize or reject transactions created by other users. The superadmnistrator is created by the bank from enrolment of electronic banking and to create it, it will be necessary to contact your officer directly.

Authorizers is the configuration carried out by the platform administrator. When transactions are performed, this configuration allows for authorization by the assigned users before being processed.

The transaction limits are the range configured by the administrator that limits the transactions either daily, monthly, by debit and/or user privileges. To modify these privileges, login to the administrator section.
