Why is my earned Cash Back not available for redemption?

There are a few reasons your Cash Back balance may not be available to redeem:

  • You haven’t reached the $25 redemption minimum yet
  • The bonus portion of the Cash Back earned as part of an offer isn’t available to redeem yet. For example, the bonus portion of Cash Back earned related to the Scotia Momentum® Visa Infinite* welcome bonus will be displayed on your statements but will become available to redeem online after the promotion period has ended
  • You aren’t the primary cardholder or co-borrower on the credit card account. Supplementary cardholders aren’t eligible to redeem the Cash Back balance.
  • Your account is closed. Call the number on the back of your card within 90 days of the close date to redeem your outstanding Cash Back balance
  • Your account won’t be eligible to redeem Cash Back if it is not in good standing. Anytime Cash Back redemption is currently available for Scotia Momentum Visa Cash Back cardholders.
