Why did Scotiabank cancel my installment plan?
Your Scotia SelectPay™ Installment Plan could have been cancelled because:
- You’ve missed paying (so we did not receive) at least 1 minimum monthly installment payment by the payment due date on your statement or have paid at least 1 installment payment late (we received the payment after the payment due date).
- A change in account status (for example: your account has been closed).
- Your account is currently overdue because we did not receive payment for any past due amount.
- You’ve advised us that are now a resident of Quebec. At this time, we do not offer Scotia SelectPay Installment Plans to Quebec residents. We will cancel an Installment Plan if you become a Quebec resident even during the duration (payment period) of your Installment Plan.
