What is a credit balance?
If you pay more than your credit limit or the outstanding balance owing on your credit card account at any time (including any past due and overlimit amount), then the excess amount (i.e. overpayment) will result in a credit balance on your account.
Note: A credit balance does not increase your available credit or your credit limit.
