Once you download the Scotiabank app, here’s what you’ll need to sign in:

• Your ScotiaCard number or username: Your ScotiaCard number is the 16-digit number on the front of your Scotiabank debit card. If you previously created a username to sign in to Scotiabank online or mobile banking, you can use that instead.

• Your password: Use the same password that you currently use to sign in to online and mobile banking. Your password is 8-32 characters long, contains one upper and one lowercase letter, and contains at least one number.

Here are a few things to know about your password:

• If you already use Scotia OnLine, you can use the same password to sign in to the app
• If you have never used Scotia OnLine, start by tapping Activate Now in the Activate Online & Mobile Banking section on the login page
• If you have a password but don't remember it, tap Forgot your username or password? on the login page and follow the instructions
