How long will it take AutoPay to start once I set it up?
If you set up AutoPay before 5 pm ET on a business day before your payment is due, your pre-authorized payment will be withdrawn on your payment due date.
If you set up AutoPay on your actual payment due date, the first automatic minimum payment due will be withdrawn on the following business day after your payment due date. Any payment withdrawn after your payment due date may be considered late and you may incur interest charges for a past due payment on your Scotiabank credit card or Scotiabank line of credit.
Any payment withdrawn after your payment due date may be considered late and late fees and/or overdue charges may apply.
