There are a few different methods to send payments in ScotiaConnect that suit different scnarios:

Individual Payments: Go to Manage Recipients to create a recipient. Click the Create Payment shortcut on the Overview page and choose your recipient then fill in the details to create the payment. Approve (if needed), or Submit the payment. *

Groups of Payments: Go to Manage Templates to create a template. Create payment(s) from your template(s) using the From Template page. Approve if needed or Submit the payment(s).

If you are using a 3rd party accounting software: Create your payment file in your accounting software, have it sent to Scotiabank for processing using a predefined delivery method. Approve (if required) or Submit the payments.

*This method is currently the only way to use Interac e-Transfers
