How do I reset a password for one of my users?

If you have access to administration on ScotiaConnect, you can reset other users’ passwords.

This flow will vary based on your ScotiaConnect setup.

  1. Go to Administration.
  2. Select User Information OR User and Company Permissions
  3. You will see all your company's users listed. Click on the name of the user who needs to be reset.
  4. Click 'Recover Credentials' and specify if you are recovering their password their security questions or both and click 'Continue'.
  5. Enter your password and token value then click 'Sign & Submit'.

Note the authorization code, you will need to provide it to the user you are recovering.
