How do I receive a wire transfer?

To receive a wire transfer you’ll need to provide the sender with your name, address, 12-digit account number (5-digit transit + 7-digit account number), the address of your branch, plus the following information:

  • Bank name: Bank of Nova Scotia
  • SWIFT code/BIC: NOSCCATT

If the wire transfer is in USD, in addition to the above you’ll also need to provide:

  • Bank name: Bank of America NA
  • Address: 222 Broadway New York, NY 10038 US
  • ABA number: 026009593
  • SWIFT code/BIC: BOFAUS3N
