How do I create a deposit in Remote Deposit?

  1. On the main Remote Deposit page click 'Create Deposit'
  2. Select the deposit currency (can only do deposits in a single currency)
  3. Enter the Deposit amount (the total value of all cheques included in the deposit). If this does not balance with the calculated total of the scanned cheques you will not be able to finalize your deposit.
  4. Select the Deposit Account (drop down won't populate until you select a currency to prevent cross currency deposits)
  5. You have the option to enter a Serial Number (founds on CCP slip), CCP Customer Plan# (13 digit plan number) or Deposit Descriptor. The Deposit Description will be included on your account details report
  6. Once all the required fields are filled in click 'Continue'
  7. Load your cheque(s) into your scanner and click 'Scan'
  8. If there are errors you will see a 'Fix Errors' button at the bottom of the page, correct the errors and it will change to 'Submit Deposit'.
  9. Click 'Submit Deposit' to finalize your deposit.

NOTE: You must keep your cheques for 45 days after submitting your deposit.

NOTE: Bank Drafts and Certified Cheques can be deposited using Remote Deposit.
