Secret word: Is a word that is received via a text message to your cell phone registered with your bank.

When you register for ScotiaConnect it is necessary to create a secret word; for the second secret word:

• 12 to 32 alphanumerical characters are required
• Only the characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9 are accepted
• At least one number and one letter are required
• No special characters (% ! $ or &) or spaces are accepted
• Does not contain your username
