How do I cancel an Interac e-Transfer?

You can cancel an Interac e-Transfer if it hasn't already been deposited into the contact’s account. If the person you're sending your e-Transfer to has Autodeposit, however, it's not possible to cancel the transfer.
To cancel the transfer:
- From the main navigation bar, select Move money
- Select Interac e-Transfer
- Select Transfer history from the side navigation menu
- From the Pending section, select the transfer you're looking to cancel
- Select Cancel transfer
- Select the account the cancelled funds should be deposited into
- Select Cancel transfer
