How can certain service providers receive my data?

Scotiabank won’t ask you to share your data, or to provide it to anyone. When you engage certain digital service organizations or technology service providers, you can give them your consent to collect some of your data from Scotiabank and authorize us to release it. This method doesn’t require you to share any of your security credentials, and is a faster, safer, and more accurate way of transferring data.

Your selected service provider should clearly explain to you what data they require to provide you with their service and why. If you’re uncertain about what they will do with your data, we’d recommend that you do not authorize its disclosure or consent to its use.
