What is historical income and how is it calculated?

Historical income represents, based on the transaction history, distribution amounts that were actually paid on distribution paying securities held in your account from January 1 of the previous year.

You can view historical income for the following periods:

  • year-to-date
  • previous calendar year
  • previous 90 days
  • previous 60 days
  • previous 30 days

Historical income is categorized as either cash or reinvested. Cash income encompasses distributions paid in cash. Reinvested income encompasses distributions reinvested in securities. Where partial shares can't be purchased as part of the DRIP or DPP program, a small amount of the distribution may still be paid out in cash this cash is still reflected as reinvestment in the historical income.
