Why isn’t my ScotiaCard number, username or password working?

If you’re having trouble signing in to the Scotia app with your ScotiaCard, you can try to:

  • Enter your 16-digit ScotiaCard number with no spaces
  • Use your username (if you’ve created one for online banking) to sign in instead of your ScotiaCard number
  • Select the "eye" icon next to your password after typing it in to confirm that it has been entered correctly

If you’re signing in to a joint account, make sure you’re using your own ScotiaCard number/username and password.

If you recently got a new ScotiaCard, make sure to remove the old card number and sign in with your new ScotiaCard number.

If you’ve forgotten your username or password, select the Need help signing in? or Forgot your username or password? option on the login screen and follow the steps to recover your username or reset your password.
