What happens to my AutoPay settings if I get a new or replacement Scotiabank credit card or access card for my Scotiabank line of credit account?
If you’ve been issued a new or replacement Scotiabank credit card or access card for your line of credit account but your account number remained the same, your AutoPay settings won’t be affected.
However, if your account number for your Scotiabank credit card or Scotiabank line of credit account has changed, your AutoPay settings will be transferred to your new account number after the first statement with your new account number has been issued. If there is a payment due before that first statement is issued, your AutoPay payment will not be withdrawn. You will have to make the payment manually using Scotiabank online or mobile banking.
