What happens to my rewards when I switch to a Scotiabank Value Visa?

Your Scotia Rewards® balance must be redeemed within 60 days of when your Scotiabank credit card is closed on non-cash items (i.e. merchandise only), provided that the account is in good standing. After that time, you will lose your points. Once the card is closed, you will not be able to redeem any points for travel or credit. For SCENE® rewards, you can continue to earn or redeem SCENE points with your SCENE Membership Card even after you switch to the Value Visa. Your SCENE points do not expire by switching and are tied to your SCENE account, which can be accessed at scene.cascene.ca.

For cash back rewards, you will lose the cash you have accumulated if you chose to switch to the Value Visa card before the pay-out in November.
