How does the Welcome Promotional Interest Rate Offer for the Scotia High Interest Savings Account work?

You’re eligible for the Welcome Promotional Interest Rate Offer if:

  • You’re opening your first Scotia High Interest Savings Account
  • You don’t currently have or haven’t had a Scotia High Interest Savings Account or MomentumPLUS Savings Account within the last two years
  • You have a Total Relationship Balance that is greater than $10,000 CAD

If you’re eligible, the Promotional Rate will automatically be applied to balances up to $5,000,000 CAD in your Scotia High Interest Savings Account. You’ll start earning the Promotional Rate on eligible funds for 90 days starting from the first day that you open your Scotia HISA.
