How do I update my phone number to make sure I continue to get 2-step verification codes?

It’s important to keep your phone number updated to protect your accounts with 2-step verification.

To update your phone number on your web browser:

  1. Sign in to online banking and select Manage my accounts
  2. Select Security and passwords, then Update security verification method, then Update verification method
  3. Select Update your phone number
  4. Select Edit mobile number
  5. Enter your phone number to receive verification codes
  6. Get a text message or phone call with your verification code
  7. Enter the verification code online, then select Complete set up
  8. Select Continue

You can also update your phone number when you're not signed in to online banking. Here’s how:

  1. Select Need help signing in? on the sign in page
  2. Select I am not getting 2-step verification (2SV) text messages
  3. Select Continue at the context setting page
  4. Enter username at the next page
  5. Answer the security questions successfully
  6. Enter your phone number to receive verification codes
  7. Get a text message or phone call with your verification code
  8. Enter the verification code
  9. Select Continue
