Before contributing to your TFSA, please double check your contribution limits for this year to make sure you won’t exceed them.

To contribute to your TFSA:

1. From the app’s home screen, select Move money
2. Select Transfer between accounts
3. Choose the account you want to transfer money from
4. Choose the TFSA you want to contribute to, then select your investment option
5. Enter the amount of your contribution
6. Slide to transfer

If you don’t see your TFSA as an option to transfer between accounts, select the account from your home screen. Then tap Manage my investments to open Scotia Smart Investor, select the account again, and make your contribution.
