How do I check and grant microphone and camera permissions for my virtual appointment?

iOS (iPhone / iPad) To ensure the Scotiabank app has access to your microphone and camera:

  1. Open your device's Settings
  2. Scroll down and select the Scotiabank app
  3. Enable Camera and Microphone

You can also review permissions in: Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera / Microphone.

Android To check or grant microphone or camera permissions for the Scotia app:

  1. Open your device’s Settings
  2. Select Apps (or Apps & notifications)
  3. Find and select the Scotiabank app
  4. Select Permissions
  5. Allow Camera and Microphone

For all devices, if permissions were denied earlier, you may be prompted again during your appointment.
